If you didn’t know already, emerald is the birthstone for the month of May. Although many months have altered their birthstones over the years, May has consistently held on to Emerald since the 15th century.

 

Traditionally birthstones were associated with various society traditions. Each stone was associated with qualities that symbolize its month of birth (according to the Gregorian calendar).

So what do you love about emeralds? I bet it is that unmatchable green hue.
